Sojourn is back from the editor! It is covered in edits, notes, and suggestions. Instead of being overwhelmed like I thought I would be I am excited and ready to jump into the rewrite with enthusiasm.
There is a ton of work to be done; I spent two hours yesterday with my editor going over the story line, and I am once again so happy I found someone who works well with me. She was able to question characters, plot, and narrative in such a way that I became more excited about the rewrite instead of frustrated at the changes required.
I do have to update my blogging schedule a little – time is going very quickly lately – so I plan to post less. Trying to maintain a post every day is overwhelming right now; I plan to post two regular posts a week, plus the Friday Special and Book of the Week for a while. Once I get the rewrite (and move) done I will attempt the everyday schedule once more.
